By the mill on the ‘Wey' Canal
We had shouted and run about
And though your laughter echoed out
The sun came up and you weren't around

Decades pass but you still belong
Still the memory of you goes on

Though I find it hard to say

When I look I just have to weep

Are you parted from what you want?

And never know where you belong?
