Nuestro nombre representa muchas cosas. Comenzando por la frase Boogie Down que representa el Boogie Down Bronx "Sur del Bronx" donde el hip-hop comienza. La palabra Boogie tambien representa los 70s, época durante la cual el hip-hop nace y la época de oro de música como la Salsa & el Reggae. Es tambien la época cuando el Dee Jaying jamaiquino (toasting) fue establecido como una forma legítima de arte. FAMILY, reresenta que esto no es otra organizacin, esto es una familia entre sus miembros y una famila de diferentes clases de artistas. LOS ELEMENTOS DE LA CULTURA HIP-HOP.
Our name represent a lot of things. Starting with the phrase Boogie Down that represent The Boogie Down Bronx "South Bronx" where hip-hop start. The word Boogie also represent the 70's, the time when hip-hop born and the gold time of music like Salsa & Reggae. It's also the time when the Jamaican Dee Jaying (toasting) was stablished like a form of art. FAMILY, represent that this is not another group, it's a family between the members and a famiy of different kinds of artists. THE ELEMENTS OF HIP-HOP CULTURE.
Da' Boogie Down Family es un corillo de jóvenes hip-hopper con la determinación de crear una organización para el apoyo y la práctica de las distinatas formas de expresión de la Cultura Hip-Hop. Comienza en 1996 por iniciativa de Mind Dwella a.k.a. Foze, Ed-5 a.k.a. The Game Boy y Boogie-One.
Da' Boogie Down Family is a crew of young hip-hoppers with the determintation of creat a group for support and practice of the diferent forms of expression of the Hip-Hop Culture. Start in 1996 by the initiative of Mind Dwella a.k.a. Foze, Ed-5 a.k.a. The Game Boy & Boogie-One.
